One God - Everlasting Father

I hold strongly the viewpoint that trinitarianism is deceptive as well as deceitful.

I reference J. Rodman Williams' book 'Renewal Theology from a Charismatic Perspective' :
In chapter four, entitled "the Holy Trinity" Mr. Williams, in his argument for the existence of the Trinity, discloses his observation in Isaiah 9:6  that the Son of God is referenced.  What is interesting, however, is the conclusion, as he states that "The Son will be 'Mighty God.'."  In fact, that conclusion was completely camouflaged through the recitation of an incomplete Scripture referenced below.  He recited as follows:
"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given...and his name will be called 'Wonderful, Councelor, Mighty God' "  Where is the rest of the Scripture?!!!
Please note also, that Mr. Williams states what is and underpinning message of trinitarians that Jesus was made to be (as made tobecome) "Mighty God."  In fact, the Scripture referenced does not state that the Son ..."will be...", but that He will "be called..." by His name.

Hmmm... He avoided the very Scripture that thwarts the notion of any sort of trinity or triunity!  Quite deceptively, he ommitted the very Words that tell us that Jesus Christ is, also, most definitely, "...The Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace."

Isaiah 9 (KJB)
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Trinity, trinitarianism, triune defined

Well...I may as well begin with the most diabolical example of tradition and philosophical deception: The Trinity.
The expressions of the Trinity are vast and varied but always seemingly stress the importance of acknowledging the idea that there is a Triune God. that god is "one God in three persons." Accordingly, trinitarians suggest that the Christian faith is a faith in the Triune God. However, while they confess in the oneness of God and even admit that Judaism has always made reference to the One God, they defy the oneness doctrine of the Old Testament with reference to New Testament Scriptures.

In fact, J. Rodman Williams (a Devout Trinitarian) states "In the Old Testament there is no distinct reference to God as existing in three persons." Feeble attempts to intimate that because the word "three" is used in the OT, there is therefore reasonto believe there might be a hidden reference to their claim of a triune God. Ttrinitarians altruistically cling to the idea that perhaps it is sufficient that suggestions in the OT should substantiate their claim. God, in fact, has already stated what He means and most definitely did not discribe Himself as a triune god. If He were a triune God why did He make it clear that He is ONE? Further, He never referenced Himself as more than One.

The trinitarians or those who hold to the idea of Triunity sometimes adopt variations of the falsehood but all of them will recite something to the effect that "I believe in one God in three persons...the blessed trinity." That is, they suggest that the Father, Son, Holy Spirit are "three in one" [God].
The NT references below are a frequent stop for trinitarians:

1 John 5
7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

1 John 5
8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

Special attention to those Scriptures, however, contradict the notion of a trinity in themselves.  in 1 John 5:7 the Word says "Father, Word, and the Holy Ghost" no mention of Son.  This is not to negate the fact that there is the Only begotten Son of God. It does, however, illustrate the propensity to elaborate when the Scriptures are specific. Further, the notion of "three in one"  is not mentioned in Scriptures at all!  The Word says that those three, Father, Word, Holy Ghost, are one.  If "One", then you cannot turn the Scriptures to mean that the one is three!  The reference to the Father, Word, Holy Ghost is a  reference to the One God and on earth we agree with our God and Father of all who is that Holy One of Israel.

The reference of God in "three persons" is concocted by trinitarians and unfounded in the Holy Scriptures.

There is absolutely no quotable Scripture or reference that says that God is in or of or made up of three persons anywhere in God's Holy Word.  There is absolutely no reference in God's Holy Bible (KJB) to even a reference to "persons of God" or God is more that of the "Just One". The only reference to the person of God is found in Job"

Job 13
8 Will ye accept his person? will ye contend for God?

Do not however make God in your mind to be a mere person. Rather, we know that God is not man but is Spirit.

Numbers 23
19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

John 4

24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Mr Williams has go so far as to state properties of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are distinctive to each and that there is an hierarchy that exists so that the relationship of the Son is subordinate to the Father.

To this extent, trinitarians cannot even agree to the divinity of the Son.
I ask often "Who do you believe Jesus is?"  Some do not know, and so many professing Christians will say first, "He is the Son of God." When I follow with the question do you say that He is God?" Very often those same people say "No."  I usually follow with., "Then why do you call Him 'Lord'?"

If He is God, I submit, then, according to His Word, He is very God! ..the One true God who is our Father and, by whose One Spirit, I am sealed.

Watch for the OT references to our ONE  GOD...

Romans 12
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
According to Scripture, Creeps are most often responsible for introducing doctrine that is unfounded in the Word of God (KJB).  Amazingly, even the saints are unaware that those ungodly traditions and philosophies have entered in.  The saints should not only disagree but stand firm against that which is contrary to the Word. Ideas or opinion already adopted by the saints should be shaken off no matter how important the traditions have been to them or their families and friends and no matter how important, in the world, philosophical or ideological ideas are espoused by the masses.

Jude 1 (KJB)
4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Timothy 1 (KJB)
9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;

Titus 2 (KJB)
7 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
8 Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.

Worldly philosophy and tradition

Cherished Illusions are accumulated by the introduction of the imaginations of ourselves and of others. So the thoughts and ideas of the ungodly or Scripturally ignorant seep into the lives of those of this world and, most assuredly and unfortunately, even into the lives of saints. Therefore, we are reminded, by Scriptural reference, to indoctrinate ourselves by the Word of God. Further, in order to deter us from holding on to axioms or truisms that fail the test of scriptural reference, we are instructed to Study the Scriptures. The Scriptures should also prevent us from picking up again the thoughts, habits, and behavior of the past and keep us from adopting, in the future, philosophical ideas of the world.
Interesting enough, worldly ideas have crept into the mainstream of church doctrine and ignorantly adopted, most often, due to its appearance to comply with godliness and many times with references to the scriptures to substantiate its validity. It is most sinister!

Colossians 2:8
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

Without biblical reference

From our childhood, truisms are fed to us by those who we may consider to be trusted authorities in our lives. Therefore, after a childlike, often innocent gullibility, we incorporate those statements in our lives. However, as is so often evident, especially, among the saints, there is observed the tendency to retain a strangle-hold on those things we have been taught although they may, in fact, violate our very faith in the inerrant Word of God. The Holy Bible is the only source for the validation of those thoughts and ideas, which otherwise, can only be construed to be simply, nefariously, unsubstantiated “Cherished Illusions”.
Scriptural referenced teaching, only, is to be used to thwart Cherished Illusions with Love and with Truth.
